Consciousness Research is a private, members-only record of muscle-testing calibrations against the Map of Consciousness. Everything here is published for educational and research purposes only.
Nothing on this site is medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and nothing here is a diagnosis, a treatment or a professional opinion. Calibrations are what members and cited sources report, not established fact. Do not use anything here as a substitute for a qualified professional, and do not act on a figure recorded here as though it were one.
By registering, you agree to treat other members with respect. This is a small community working on a subject that invites disagreement, and the disagreement is the point — the conduct around it is not negotiable.
Harassment, abuse, impersonation, and the use of another member’s readings or personal details to pressure or embarrass them are all grounds for removal. So is deliberately entering figures you do not believe, which corrupts the one thing this site exists to hold.
Membership is granted at an administrator’s discretion and may be suspended or terminated at an administrator’s discretion, including for conduct described here. We will normally say why. We are not obliged to, and a decision is not a negotiation.
You keep ownership of what you record. You grant this site a licence to store it, show it to other members, and include it in aggregate figures such as medians and distributions, for as long as your account exists and the record stands.
Record only what is yours to record. Calibrations quoted from a published source must say where they came from. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share, and do not post personal information about anyone who has not agreed to it.
The dataset is private. Do not republish it, in whole or in part, outside this site.
This site is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be available, accurate, complete, or free of error, and we may change or discontinue any part of it.
To the fullest extent the law allows, the owners and operators of this site — and anyone acting for them — are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of it, from anything recorded here, or from any decision you make on the basis of it.
By registering, you agree not to bring any claim, suit or proceeding against the owners or operators of this site in connection with your use of it, and you waive any such claim to the fullest extent the law allows. Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of certain liabilities, and nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may change these terms. The version you agreed to is recorded against your account, and a substantive change will be put to you before it takes effect for you.
